Ingredients
 
 

  • 8 oz egg noodles or lo mein noodles
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 medium carrot julienned
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 2 cups cabbage shredded
  • 3 green onions sliced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions until just al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large wok or skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add carrot, bell pepper, and cabbage. Stir-fry 3–4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. Add the cooked noodles to the pan, tossing to combine with the vegetables.
  5. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Mix well until noodles are coated and heated through.
  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.

Notes
